
In my blog readings today, I came across Stephanie Quilao’s post asking us what we would say to our daughter if she said that she wanted to be like one of those naked models she saw pictured here. [Source]

, don’t look at it.” That’s probably what you’re thinking, right? I may not like looking at it, but it would be hard not to avoid it if it’s taken up a whole side of a building!
Ok, the ad is for makeup, but then we have half naked models in it. No tube of lipstick or an eye shadow container in sight. What sense does that make?
Do marketing people not care that they’re programming our kids to want to be like this? Of course not. Oh, that's right, all they care about is the money...
