If you’ve been reading this blog for some time now, you know how I feel about corporate responsibility and how companies should always make an effort to give back to their customers and community. With that said, I found out via Women’s Wear Daily (subscription required) that beginning September 11, Nordstrom (JWN) will be selling t-shirts with the word “One” and a circle of people on them.
For those of you who don’t know, “One” is the campaign to help
eradicate poverty and AIDS. It’s been supported big-time by rock star Bono of U2 along with millions of people across the U.S. It definitely makes sense to join in the effort to help those who are less fortunate. With so many resources in the world, there’s no excuse for one person to be without food nowadays.
So, big hug to Nordstrom for helping to promote this campaign! For more information, visit: http://web1.one.org/
