Finally, a chance to sit down and review the September issue of Vogue. With a couple hours to spare - because you need that much time to browse through the 700+ page magazine which I've dubbed the "Ad fest" or "Couture Catalog" - I was ready to oooh and ahhh...which I did by the way. ![]()
Since it’s all about the ads this month, I have to let you in on my favorites. My #1 favorite ad is Dolce & Gabanna’s depiction of old Victorian/Romanesque life. It was like looking at a painting in an art museum. Whoever thought up this ad is absolutely brilliant. It’s different and I love it. I also have to give it up to Nordstrom for their very artsy ads - ads that could be framed and
saved for years. Juicy Couture gets an honorable mention for their highly colorful and fun ads.
Am I inspired by this issue of Vogue? Definitely. Am I ready to go on a fall wardrobe shopping spree? Absolutely! Fall, here I come!
