I read this little article over at fibre2fashion where it says that only 12 percent of pre-teen girls buy something because they see a star or model wearing it. It reminds of the days when I used to watch “Who’s the Boss” with Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano. I wanted to wear every outfit that Alyssa would wear on the show. So it comes to a surprise to me that pre-teen girls supposedly select their wardrobes based on what they see in a catalog, magazine, or what their peers are wearing. Well, I can understand that many younger girls want to get what their friends have. Perhaps I’m simply one of the 12 percent. I'm very curious as to how many girls were polled for this study. It wasn't mentioned in the article.
I’m curious, what influences your fashion style? Do you buy something because Lindsay Lohan or Kate Moss is wearing it? I do have to admit that I’ve wanted something because I’ve seen a celebrity wearing it. However, that was during my 20’s and now I really could care less.

I'm more inspired by the street. Especially with handbags, enough Gucci hobos seen and I suddenly need a hobo, a Gucci, and eventually a Gucci hobo!
I just see things around enough in any form and it seeps into my brain.
Here's a question: Do you find blogs influential to you or anyone else?
