This past year people were talking about whether or not Los Angeles will actually “make it” as a bonafide venue for a Fashion Week. Frankly, when you have Paris Hilton as a model for a show, it’s hard for me to take it seriously. I know, I know, I’m jealous ;)
Well, Los Angeles may very well make an impression next year when the city will host the first ever World Fashion Week. On December 7th of this year the World Fashion Awards will host the opening gala for the event at the Kodak Theatre. What I love most about it is that the event will also be a fundraising effort for Humanitarian Aid. Designers from 38 countries have already confirmed their participation.
