Ahhhh...it’s nice to come back after a mini-vacation! I’m amped, I’m looking forward to the fall season, and I’m gearing up my brain to read all the posts that will be coming from New York for Fashion Week. I feel giddy with excitement and I’m not even going to be there ;)
It was a great weekend to chill and relax here in San Diego. We’re at the height of our summer season and I’m pretty much baked like an oat bran muffin! Yesterday I got the chance to hang out with Zoe of Verbal Croquis. She was here in San Diego with her friend, “M”, visiting a friend who lives here in SD. Christy, another reader of Zoe’s, also joined in. We chatted it up about life in general and Zoe shared her stories about her trip to Vegas last week.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I met Zoe. I mean, we all know her as this great fashion designer and I knew from interviewing her awhile back that 1) she is funny 2) she is freakin’ hilarious and 3) did I say that she is funny? It made me wonder if she should become a comedian instead. Needless to say, we had a good time and I think I laughed non-stop for about four hours straight. In my rush out to meet her I forgot my camera so you can’t see the great time that we had....Next time!
I was the friend, and it was hilarious. I am still giggling.
