Move over Serena, there’s a new fashionista making her mark on the tennis court. There’s been much buzz over Maria Sharapova’s black Nike “night dress” that she wore last week. It’s so cute, it makes me want to go out and play tennis just to be able to sport the dress. Heck
- why not just wear it wherever and whenever?
It seems as of late that tennis is turning into one of those sports that is commanding a more stylish dress code. Nike seems to be doing it right with this little black dress. Who says you can’t look pretty while sweating it out on the court?

( I feel squeemish..oh so squeemish)Maria Sharapova destroys any sense of style that she could possibly acheive on the tennis court with her annoying and probably patented screeching every time she takes a swipe at the ball. I propose that when she screeches,the audience should screech right back at her forming a kind of new wave WAVE in audience participation and bonding with this modern fair lady.
