Ok, so supposedly there’s this “pirate trend” going around. But who knew that pirates were one of the more fashionable people back in the days?
I took a break today and walked over to take some pictures of the 
Star of India - a famous ship parked at our port here in San Diego. Next to that ship was a pirate ship which I also checked out (such the tourist that I am!) There were pirate mannequins and displays to give you the full experience. I took a picture of this fashionably dressed pirate wearing ornate jewelry that I found quite fascinating.
