The company is taking a more “upscale” approach in its approach to attracting customers. The stores will be more streamlined and carry higher-priced handbags. The focus will be on handbags because
that seems to be the accessory that doesn’t undergo any seasonal slumps. Another change the company will make is to carry less inventory for shorter amounts of time. They want pieces to have a shorter “shelf life” and will replace inventory on a regular basis. Sounds like they want to take a “fast fashion” approach to their business. Looks like the changes will be for the good of the business...Change is certainly good for the soul - especially in this business when things go stale very quickly!
