
According to this article (hat tip to Christine of Flooring the Consumer), consumers are willing to dish out the dough for high-end Disney products - especially if their “limited editions” or “collectibles”. T-shirts at this new Disney shop range in the $60 range and denim jeans sell for about $150.
When I worked at Nordstrom, I remember seeing these Mickey Mouse t-shirts popping up in the women’s department. I questioned one of the salespeople about the t-shirts - wondering if the t-shirts were selling - the answer was a “No.”
So, you be the judge...Do you think Mickey Mouse will become cool again?
