It’s a growing concern among many people, I’m sure. It’s such an issue that there are now fashion companies popping up more and more that sell exclusively fair-trade clothing. Recently a group of ex-Land’s End employees came together to launch a company called Fair Indigo. The executives of Fair Indigo have searched high and low for factories that treat their workers well.
Just imagine having to work in a factory where you only make $1.50 a day sewing garments. Put yourself in their shoes and keep that in mind the next time you go shopping. When you think about the bigger picture, you’ll understand that many companies are a bit greedy, eh? Which is one of the reason why I never pay full retail price...
This month is fair trade month, so celebrate by supporting those companies that value fair trade!

Yes, but how about how Gap, Inc. treats their own employees here? Do you know that there is a salary cap for retail staff? It's low, let me tell you!
