1) People still love discounts. I mean, who doesn’t? The stores that offer huge savings are of course going to be busier.
2) Retailers are focusing on the older demographic. Well, it only makes sense to do so - they probably have the most money. Although with the boom in tech companies, there are also many youngsters with money nowadays.
3) Shoot! The holidays are already here and this is the time when retailers roll in their merchandise and start enticing people to shop early. A little hard to get into the mood when it’s still pretty warm here in the Southwest!
