I think it would be ok for the fashion cycle to slow down, don’t you? Sure, it may be bad for retailers who depend on those fashionistas coming into their store every week and perhaps it may affect the economy as a whole...However, perhaps this would keep more money in people’s pockets. But how would that induce a less creative industry? If anything, this would challenge designers to be more creative and would see less of this cycle of fashion that is prevalent in our society. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with fashion coming back. (I do love vintage!) However, I’m all for fashion moving forward - which hasn’t been happening.
