I don’t get around to talking very much about sports fashion, although I did mention my love for basketball awhile back. In another life I was quite the tomboy and was really into basketball jerseys and basketball shoes. Remember when Michael Jordan’s were really, really popular? I almost wish I had started a Michael Jordan shoe collection because who knows how much those things
are worth today! I spent some time browsing the My Air Shoes blog which basically talks about Nike Air shoes (Duh!). Jordan shoes have really come a long way as I look at the pics of the Air Jordan XXII. Are basketball players headed towards the moon?
In thinking about these shoes, I think back to the days when I heard stories about people killing others because they wanted their shoes. It's interesting that people place such high value on material things - so much that they are willing to kill someone over it. I may like that Chanel purse, but not that much!
