I just read an interesting article about a company called Noble Biomaterials that embeds silver in clothing in order to prevent the clothes from smelling. This is great for athletes or people who tend to smell(?) often. (I say buy a better deodorant, but hey, that’s just me).
Bill McNally started the company 10 years ago and companies are starting to take notice. Noble Materials produces this silver-coated fiber and has now licensed it to more than 300 companies including Adidas, Puma, and other athletic apparel brands. High-tech clothing is beginning to make it’s mark in the fashion world, eh? Pretty soon we won’t have to wash our clothing…uhhh, yeah….
