As you may or may not know, a couple weeks ago I visited and reviewed the Forth & Towne store here in San Diego.  I arrived a little early for the interview, so I decided to check out the other stores that were nearby and one of those stores was Sigrid Olsen.  Somehow I became entranced by the freshness and artsy-feel of the store. 

I was greeted by one of the employees who turns out to be the manager of the store, Yvette Gauna. We chatted about the jewelry (my love!) and she tried to help me find a jacket that I fell in love with in my size.
Yvette mentioned that business was a little slow because not too many people have heard of Sigrid Olsen in San Diego.  She gave me a tour of the store and told me that Sigrid has an art background and wanted her stores to portray an artsy, whimsical feel.  I immediately felt a connection to Sigrid as we seem to have so much in common!  Her art is displayed in the little sitting area in one corner of the store and she adds her artistic touch to every detail in her designs.  I love it!
