“Hey! I’m in downtown today. Wanna have lunch?” I ask her.
“Oh, I’d love to but I won’t be much company. I’m behind and I have to work on the schedule for the Half-Yearly sale!” she said in a much stressed voice.
Ah, how could I forget the weeks before the Half-Yearly sale! Days spent tagging shoe after shoe with sale tags. Everybody drowning in shoe boxes. Those were the days. But in the end, those paychecks were sure worth it! ;)
Anyways, for those of you who can’t stand crowded stores and long lines but want your Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, etc., you may be happy to know that Nordstrom has added these designers to their online Designer Collections website. Previously you couldn’t get these brands at the Nordstrom website, but now the company is making effort to create a better shopping experience for their customers. They want to offer more products that were previously only available in the offline stores. Of course, kudos to Nordstrom because that’s what they’re all about - creating a better shopping experience!
