Kate Moss wins the Top Model of the Year in Britain and of course, there are those who oppose her receiving this award. She’s still being scrutinized for her past - allegedly using cocaine - and people won’t put that to rest.

I do believe that celebrities have a duty to be good citizen models

for those who look up to them. However, we have to remember that they are human too and yes, humans make mistakes. Haven’t you ever done anything that you feel ashamed of? Did you learn from it?

As with the case with Mel Gibson and his DUI incident or any other celebrity who has fallen victim to their mistakes, do we judge these people by their work, integrity...or both? Are companies using these celebrities' notoriety for their own gain?
