No, it isn’t a new art gallery, it’s the Max Azria boutique on Melrose Avenue in L.A. Artist Patrick Dougherty was commissioned by Max Azria to build this awesome display of art. I’ve been in “circle mode” myself with my art, so I have an appreciation for this. It’s fun and eye-catching, no? How can you not notice this while driving down Melrose? 
Dougherty used tree sapling for this sculpture, or jungle adventure, that covers the building. The display will be on view until January 2008 and on December 4th it will be unveiled at a party that will benefit the Environmental Defense Fund.
