I came across this article over at Salon about the big-breasted mannequins. They’ve been popping up in boutiques across South Beach Florida and according to the article, they’ve also hit the streets of New York. My initial reaction was to rant about how these mannequins are going to make women even more conscious and obsessed with how their boobs look. ![]()
However....
I decided that maybe I could look at it from the perspective of a woman who is well-endowed. (Ok, humor me a little) It’s hard to find clothing in your size, but all of a sudden you see this mannequin in a boutique that lets you know that it carries clothing just for you.
Any thoughts?

Well, I don't have huge breasts, but they are large enough relative to my small frame that it's hard for me to find clothing that fits my bust AND my waist. I might have better luck in a store like that (or perhaps it'll fit in the waist and be loose in the bust!). Plus, a lot of women these days (particularly in South Florida) have had breast augmentation and probably have trouble finding stuff that fits their new bosom.
