I’ve always believed that we should be on a constant quest to learn about different designers around the world. Today I was browsing the fashion gallery over at Telegraph and the designs by Gerald Watelet caught my attention. Watelet is a Belgian designer who actually didn’t even go to fashion school - he
attended hotel school and worked in restaurants until he started his own couture collection in 1988.
This year’s collection has an interesting ethnic vibe to it that I’m very much attracted to. It’s bold, it’s fun, and it actually is wearable - a characteristic uncommon to couture fashion.
