Pimps, Hos, Leaders, and Followers
Our celebrity-crazed society has us buying products and fashion simply because a popular person endorsed it.  It’s just like high school.  Many of us wanted to dress like the “popular people” so we could be “cool” too.  Mischa%20Barton.jpg

The fashion world tells us that they will continue to use celebrities in their advertising and marketing because celebrities make more money for them.  Sounds like a game of pimps and hos where the fashion industry is pimping these celebrities - dontcha think?  The celebrities fall for it because they’re getting paid through free swag.  But then, maybe I’m just jealous because I can’t get free stuff ;)  If you're getting paid to endorse a company, at least remember what company you're endorsing!

But on a serious note, if you are a fashion company just starting out, I have a question for you... Are you going to be a leader or a follower?  Are you going to think outside the box and try a different approach to marketing your company?
