There’s Fashion You Wear and Then There’s Fashion...

You don’t wear?  I just read this piece over at Fashion Week Daily that gives us a glimpse of Christian Dior’s Haute Couture SS07 line.  These grandeur pieces surely aren’t for the faint-hearted.  They’re bold and full of creative flair.  Christian%20Dior%20Haute%20Couture.jpg

I often wonder who would buy pieces like this that Galliano created for Dior.  I picture queens in far off places adorning these dresses at some esteemed gathering.  Or perhaps they could be costumes for a movie?  Are they strictly for show only to be exhibited in a museum someday?  Is it true that design houses sometimes lose money from these haute couture fashion shows?

I love the Christian Dior S/S 2007 collection. The dresses are breath-taking and inspiring but they are definitely for those who enjoy being the center of attention - unlike me who is quite shy and would rather elegantly blend into the fashion gathering than stand-out in one CD's fabulous dresses.

I did read in a fashion magazine years ago that many of the fashion houses do take losses in their haute couture lines but it's more than compensated for in the amount of publicity that it brings the company.
So it may eventually be a wash - oh, and like you said I think their designs are used in hollywood - not only on the sets but on the red carpet.

From a business perspective, I can understand that these types of shows can bring in a large amount of publicity. If I was a designer I probably would do it too!

How can Caffeine Addiction cause an energy rise in your body.

Caffeine is currently of the most consumed substances in the world nowadays, but many people ignore caffeine effects in the body, especially when a person suffers caffeine addiction or abuses of it somehow.

In this article I would like to point out the most negative caffeine effects on your body and what caffeine energy produces on your body, as well as mentioning some special facts about caffeine addiction.

Drinking various cups of coffees in a day is not good at all, especially if we drink it in the late afternoon or night, because the caffeine will stay in our bodies for up to eight hours, which affects our sleep.

Caffeine also affects the levels of cortisol in the body, leading to more cravings for carbohydrates and fats and mass weight onto our stomachs; abdominal fat causes bigger health risks than other kinds of fat. However, if you drink coffee in the morning and exercise straight afterwards, it can help you to burn fat 30 percent more efficiently than without taking it, because it helps to keep blood sugar levels up, making us less hungry.

Caffeine energy is understood as the energy that people usually experience when they consume caffeine. Caffeine energy usually gives our energy levels a temporary increase, but after it disappears we may suffer mild depression and start feeling lethargy, making it harder to exercise. So in other words, caffeine energy causes a quick improvement in our energy levels but it is just temporary and will cause an energy decrease afterwards making it hard for us to exercise.

Caffeine Pills -Effects, Withdrawal and Addiction

Caffeine pills are used worldwide as weight loss remedies and as stimulant drugs. Caffeine pills are the latest rage in the health and fitness industry as well, and they are used extensively as they are known to improve alertness and boost energy in human beings.

Caffeine pills also have side effects, just like any other type of medication, such as increased heart palpitations, headaches, restlessness, insomnia, psychomotor agitation, depression, irritability, disorientation, lack of judgement, peptic ulcers, loss of social inhibition, respiratory alkalosis, hallucinations, erosive esophagitis, etc.

If you ignore the headaches, a major symptom of caffeine withdrawal, that will just make you more tempted to return to the full-caffeine routine, so I recommend you to use pain relievers instead. Just be aware that some pain relievers, like Excedrin, contain caffeine, so you must include that when figuring out your daily caffeine intake! Reducing your consumption of caffeine gradually will also minimize the risk of suffering caffeine withdrawal.

Some people don´t even think about the word “addiction” when they refer to caffeine. As a matter of fact, caffeine is an addictive drug and Caffeine Addiction is a reality in our world that must be treated just like any other addiction.
Some other people frequently say they are "addicted" to caffeine in much the same way they say they are "addicted" to shopping, working or television, and the term "addiction" actually refers to a strong dependence on a drug characterised by severe withdrawal symptoms, tolerance to a given dose and the loss of control or the need to consume more and more of the substance at any cost.
