Adrian over at Fashion Verbatim has a great analysis on the possible takeover of minimalism and asks if the reincarnation of this "trend" via H&M is here to stay.
If you ask me, I never knew it left. Call me the Queen of Minimalism - although in the past couple years I have been entranced by details, trimmings, and accessories. However, I wouldn’t put it past an elite designer to claim sometime this year that minimalism is going to be the “It“ trend for next spring. Then, of course, others will fall suit. (Hey, that’s just the way it goes!) I’m all for it. I say you can never go wrong with minimalism, unless you decide to pair neon stretch pants with a black velour vest. Well, maybe it could be ok...if you live on a deserted island.![]()
"My philosophy has always been to help women and men feel comfortable and confident through the clothes that they wear, rather than to create decoration for the sake of it. This belief continues to be at the root of my work as we enter the new millennium." -- Giorgio Armani

minimalism i think should be the "IT" thing in fashion for all times `coz you`ll never go wrong with it!!
