Pantone has released a Fashion Color Report for Fall 07 and the company is saying that we’ll be seeing more rich, exotic shades ranging from “Chili Pepper” to “Carafe” to “Green Moss”. (Who thinks up these names anyways?)
Here are a few of the color philosophies from the report:
Tracy Reese: “Use black as an accessory and layer rich and vibrant color around it”
Michael Vollbracht for Bill Blass: “Muted mixed with shock, such as Gray with Red”
Catherine Malandrino: “Bold color block”

I think they all sort of nailed it. This fall is going to have a lot of charcoal greys and accessories in a muted red.
