This morning I heard that old Billy Joel song, "Uptown Girl". Oh, the memories! I distinctly remember watching that video and wanting to look like the classy Christie Brinkley. That outfit - a definite yes! However, I could have done without the guys “popping” with their cut-off shirts. I’ll have to erase that part of the 80’s out of my memory ;) When I found the video on Youtube and watched it again for the first time in oh, twenty years, the outfit Christie wore reminded me of the recent Marc Jacobs show (A big hit among all the fashionistas, so I've read). Very sleek and very classy. It’s a shame that women in music videos don’t look like that anymore. For your viewing pleasure, I have the Billy Joel video below...
