It’s always interesting to find out what inspires fashion designers.  After all, we can find inspiration from just about anything.  I’m reminded of an old Project Runway episode where they had to go out into the city, take pictures, and then design a dress from one of the photographs they took. 

Well, have you ever had inspiration from tea towels (or dish towels)?  A fashion designer in India has.  Puja Arya will be showing her collection during the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week which takes place March 21-26.  

'"My inspiration is naïve pop flower and kitchen motifs that were used to embroider tea towels in the 1960s-70s,'" Puja told a news source.  

I find inspiration for my jewelry designs from just about anything, but I get most of it from nature - whether it’s flowers or the ocean.
