Is the Big Bag Here to Stay?

Designer Ella’s poll has ended and 57% of people say that big bags are still “in”.  For me, the big bag will always be in.  For as long as I’ve been a bag lady, I’ve always carried big bags.  How else can I carry all the necessities - you know, the notebook, camera, wallet, makeup bag, the occasional fashion magazine, etc. etc. 

I spent some time browsing the CoutureCandy.com site today and came across a few big bags... 

Hera Large Handbag in Carmel

This Aaneta bag combines sexy South American design flavors and I think this large sized Hera Handbag is great for any occasion. Details include asymmetrical stitching with extra pocket and chunky beads along with thick leather tassels.  I'm attracted to it because it has a bohemian feel to it.  

Fortuna Handbag in Black

Again, I'm attracted to the Hobo look and you can't go wrong with a black bag! But then again, I'm sure we all need a black bag like we need another pair of black shoes...yeah, right!

I'll still carry my big bag despite what the doctors are saying.  You just have to be smart about it.  If you're at the store that has shopping carts, throw your bag in it!  That's what I do...
