How Could You Buy a Shoe and Never Wear It?
One of my biggest loves is art and as I was reading the Art News Blog today, I came across this post on the most expensive paintings in the world.  Well, it had me wondering what the most expensive shoes are in the world, so I did a search and discovered this Forbes article about the most expensive shoes that was published a little over a year ago.  Manolo%20Blahnik.jpg

It comes as no surprise that a $14,000 pair of Manolo Blahnik alligator boots topped the list.  Even if I was a billionaire, I don’t think I’d pay that much for a shoe.  It would seem such a waste to buy it just to keep it in a collection never to be worn - which is normally the case with very high-end shoes.
