When I was in L.A. a few weeks ago, I took a stroll down Melrose Ave just to see what I could see. I’ve never been down Melrose, so it definitely was quite interesting. Although, after awhile it all seemed like a big blur of shops and
boutiques that offered the same thing.
Of course, I had to stop in Urban Outfitters (URBN) to see what kind of bargains I could find, but didn’t stay in there very long because it was a mess. I’m sorry, but I can’t shop in that kind of environment where the merchandise is overcrowded - everything just piled up on top of each other. Every inch of surface space was occupied by some piece of clothing.
And those poor people who have to fold those gazillion shirts! Note to retailers and boutique owners: Have mercy on your employees! Would you want to stay five hours after closing to clean up that mess? ![]()
