Fashion is part of everyone’s life and professional athletes are not an exception.  There’s something about a man - a tall man - in a nice Armani suit.  Yes, I’m talking about basketball players ;)  I was happy when the NBA mandated that the players start wearing shirts and ties on game days...

Well, soccer player David Beckham is getting quite a bit of attention from the press these days and news articles are saying that “fashion critics” are hoping that he can “teach U.S. sports stars a thing or two about clothes.”  

I don’t really know what the big deal is because I think U.S. athletes dress pretty good for the most part.  Look at Dwayne Wade (Miami Heat basketball player) pictured here.  The guy looks pretty darn sharp to me!  Gotta love that hat...(wipes off drool)
