Tom Ford unveiled his new men’s wear collection this past Monday at his Madison Avenue Store.  For those of us with “Tom Ford money”, well, this is a good thing.  For those of us who have to work one month to afford a suit in Tom Ford’s store, well, all we can do is sigh and hope that lotto ticket we’re holding is our ticket into fashion heaven. 

This brings to mind something I touched upon in my previous post.  How willing are you to fork over the dough for high-end fashion?  Are we indeed just paying for the name and status that comes with owning a designer item?  

I won’t argue the fact that with high-end fashion comes very good quality, but I will say that there is some fashion that doesn’t justify the price tag.  Really, $75 for a pair of socks?
