Although Australian Fashion Week is lacking in big designer names, new and upcoming fashion designers are rockin’ the runway. I just finished watching this video of Bowie Wong’s collection for Spring/Summer 2008 and I am truly inspired. The models strutted down the runway like they were actually having fun and who wouldn’t enjoy wearing fun and flirty dresses? His collection is timeless…
Bowie Wong, the son of a Chinese opera singer, studied fashion design at East Sydney TAFE and launched his own line back in 1999. Before that he worked in costume design, was an image designer for a boutique and fashion show in Hong Kong. Visit Bowie's website: http://www.bowie.com.au/
