
It looks like David Tang, a Hong Kong fashion mogul, would like the Chinese to have their own identity when it comes to fashion. After all, it is a country with over 1 billion people - you would think that they would have fashion designers with a more global presence. Well, there is David Chu of Nautica and Vera Wang…but that’s all I can think of. Considering that the average annual income of the Chinese is $1,000 (source), it’s no wonder that fashion isn’t a priority. Perhaps David Tang could change all that with his next project?
