I’ve always looked at smoking as very unladylike despite all the fashion advertisements in history which portray very fashionable women smoking those long cigarettes. (Note to fashion blogger who blogs about fashion and smoking: this is why I won’t exchange links with you!) Here in the U.S. you don’t see those advertisements anymore, but I understand in Europe and many other places around the world it’s still the norm.
Being an ex-smoker myself, I can say that my life is so much better without it. You can definitely see a difference between the complexion of a smoker and non-smoker. With so many women so worried about looking older, it’s an oxymoron to complain about being so old while puffing on a cigarette in the process.
