Haute Concept points to this Washington Times article that says men’s sandals are the “next step in footware”. As for sandals making their way into the wardrobes of men, well, I think it’s ok. “If it’s good enough for Jay-Z, it’s good enough for every man.“ statement just doesn’t quite fly with me. I’m not particularly attracted to men who wear sandals, but I guess if worn with just the right outfit…maybe, just maybe. Oh, yes, please do not call them “mandals”!

Actually, I saw one guy with the coolest pair of sandles on in one of my classes. They were white and appeared to be leather and held my attention as though they were a shiny object and I was a raccoon. They had a really interesting shape and design, and looked good.
If guys are bringing out the sandles, they need to remember to take care of their feet or at least their toenails. Where I live, plenty of men (and women) wear flipflopping thongs year round, rain or shine. Some guy's toe nails look like they have a fungus going on, all yellow and cracked, and are enough to incite nausea. And some guys toe nails look like they can double as a weapon for an old fashioned duel or street fight they expect to encounter later. I have seen guys rock the sandles, but they took care of their feet.
