Ok, this may be old news to some of you - especially those of you who read The Budget Fashionista’s blog, but I’m just now catching up on all my fashion feeds after a week of not reading them.
Remember the Sarah Jessica Parker clothing line for Steve and Barry’s I talked about awhile back? Well, from what I read on all the other blogs, the consensus among fashionistas was that SJP’s line just wasn’t interesting. 
Here’s a blurb of what SJP said regarding all the criticism:
“What’s interesting to know about a blogger, and I’m glad we live in a democracy and we can all have an opinion is that these clothes are not made for people in the fashion industry.”
Ok, I love Sarah Jessica Parker, understand where she’s coming from and what she stands for, but when you create a clothing line, honey, it is for the fashion industry…
Personally, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. After all, this is Steve and Barry’s we’re talking about. They’re famous for their affordable clothing, not for high fashion or couture!
