It’s blazing hot out here in California, which only makes me yearn for the fall season even more. I’m still trying to catch up on all the fall 07/08 runway shows, so today I spent some time on YouTube checking out fashion videos and came across this footage of the men’s Prada show…
Prada is synonymous with minimalism and this men’s collection does not disappoint in that sense. We get clean lines and textured fabrics that add a bit of interest. However, to be quite honest, I was bored after watching only half of the show. One can only take so many men walking down the runway wearing stirrup pants/legging, bright colored shoes and feathered vests or jackets. I do give Prada credit for being fashion forward and original, but I don’t think this will make it to the streets. Perhaps in Europe, but not here in the U.S.
