Although
Liz Claiborne may be in a slump, it still has the energy and resources to create new ventures. This latest one involves
Narciso Rodriguez, the Cuban-American fashion designer who has previously worked with Anne Klein and Calvin Klein. Perhaps this new acquisition will change the face of Liz Claiborne - but then, it may not. Regardless, the company is definitely venturing into

unchartered territory - the luxury market. Perhaps someone in Liz Claiborne was on the same thinking frequency as I was when I wrote
this previous post about how they should start focusing on their upscale brands ;)
I believe that in business you can't truly succeed unless you take risks. Thinking bigger and challenging yourself will keep things from going stagnant. When your company has been in business as long as Liz Claiborne has, it's good to try new things and discover your fullest potential.
We're starting to see changes in many fashion companies like Gap who recently commissioned up-and-coming designers and Saks who just redesigned their logo. Like I've always said...Change is good! It keeps things fresh and exciting.
Great blog!I started a blog of my own as an outlet to share my views on fashion, trends, up and coming designers, boutiques I adore, fashion icons in the making, and a way to share my articles with the world (I hope to one day soon write for vogue, elle, in style or bazzar)
I write a new article everyday so please come back and check it often! Keep up the great work
