These thoughts stem from the news that Permira, a London-based private equity firm, Could possibly buy half of Valentino. Many of us know the Valentino Fashion Group for brands like Hugo Boss and of course, “Valentino” - just to name a couple of brands in the conglomerate. Another private equity firm based here in the U.S., Carlyle, had plans to buy interest in Valentino, but it looks like Permira may be the winner. (Source: Reuters)
