If you watched yesterday’s Oprah Show, you probably saw Tommy Hilfiger squash that huge rumor about not wanting black people -among other “minorities” - to wear his clothing.  I heard this rumor about five years ago, but I had this feeling that it wasn’t true.  I’m just surprised Hilfiger hasn’t come forward before this to make a statement regarding all the talk.  So, if you’ve heard this rumor, you can tell people that it’s a “BFL” - Oprah’s phrase for “Big Fat Lie!”

What has Hilfiger been up to lately?  Well, he just received the Individual Achievement Award from the Hispanic Federation, the company recently announced that they will be “fur-free” and as a reminder of how great of a designer he is, check out the Fall 2007 runway show…
