This article over at The New York Times says that in 2006, sales from skirts, shoes and suits was $18.3 billion! That’s a pretty significant number and possibly a sign that the shopping mall may be extinct in the future ;) Well, maybe not completely extinct, but let’s just say that people are finding better things to do on a gorgeous Saturday in May than to go shopping at the mall…
