I know it won’t be long before we start to see elements from the 90’s come back into style. Do you remember some of the things that you wore back then? Perhaps this list will jog those memories:
- cropped jackets
- short-shorts (a.k.a “daisy dukes”)
- unitard
- palazzo pants
- flannel tops
- baggy jeans for women
Ooh...how about those ridiculous fanny packs, eh?
The 90’s were also a time of big bell-bottom jeans - which were actually taken from the 70’s, so perhaps they may not make their rounds again for another five years or so. But hey, if you like bell-bottom jeans, why not wear them right now?
The 90s were a time of fashion experimentation for me. Basically I was trying to find myself in terms of discovering a style that truly expressed my personality. I was working for Contempo Casuals and Wet Seal during the 90s, so I was exposed to all the trendy clothing that came out during that era.

Back in the 90s I had the most awesome trench coat: it was army green with epaulettes, big shoulder pads, and a bunch of other details I don't know how to describe. It had a zip-out lining. If I still had it, I'd probably wear it, but since it was a size 10 it's probably a good thing I don't still have it!
I wore it over suits mostly. Never with a fanny pack. ;)
