Being a makeup artist working behind the scenes during a big runway show must be very exciting. Applying makeup to a model’s face is definitely an art form. I never gave it much thought until now, but to be able to transform what would ordinarily be a blank canvas into something beautiful is remarkable.
What we see on the runway is the finished product, but what we don’t realize is that it can take hours to achieve that flawless and often dramatic look. They say that accessories can make or break an outfit, but that can also be said for the makeup as well.
