Well, I understand that Valentino is from the "old school" ways of thinking and perhaps the rules of etiquette have changed. However, I must say that I do agree with him. But then, these young women probably can't help it. They're probably all wired up from being on the phone and all the distractions that pervade the young people these days.
As for being media hungry... The media perpetuates this behavior. However, at the same time, women need to start looking outside of themselves to get attention. Beauty is not about how many times your picture shows up in a magazine. Beauty is within.
