Elie Saab's mother must have known he was destined to be a fashion designer when he spent most of his childhood sketching and making patterns from tablecloths and curtains.  And certainly all that work has paid off for Elie. This Beirut-born designer has made a name for himself in the upper echelons of the fashion industry and ceases to amaze fashion editors and consumers alike. 

Saab's Fall 2007 haute couture collection is further evidence of his creative talent.  The monochrome palette of black, silver, and gray graced the runway is only but a backdrop to the flowy and oh, so feminine dresses.  If there's one designer who knows what a woman wants, it's Elie Saab.
