I don't know too many fashion designers from my native country of the Philippines, but recently I found out about Joseph Domingo - a San Francisco-based fashion designer. Domingo was born and raised in the Philippines, but came to the U.S. as a teenager and studied architecture and interior design before venturing into fashion design. Being the Renaissance Man that he is, Joseph Domingo is also a photographer and a published writer - a man after my own passions in life ;) He's also widely known for his most recent runway show at L.A.'s Fashion Week in which he taped his models' eyes shut. A great idea to get media attention, eh?
