Fashion Industry discussion, review, analysis, news, and information

As much as I love to see fashion take steps forward, I can't help but be drawn back to vintage fashion - especially to the days of Jackie Onassis with her signature sunglasses or the 70's when the flower children and bell-bottoms ruled.  There's nothing like a long flowy dress with a crown of flowers in your hair or a shift dress with white patent go-go boots. 

However, I do often reflect on the future of fashion and I think about what my daughter (if I do indeed have one) would be wearing.  Could it be daisy dukes and midriff tops or space suits and metallic high heels? 

And that's the beauty of fashion.  It's totally unpredictable and spontaneous.  One moment we're so in love with the 80's and the next moment, well, we're somewhere off looking like a character from the movie, Star Wars.
