My best friend's daughter walked out of Limited Too yesterday and I asked her what she bought. "Two purses," she said shyly.
"Two purses!" I exclaimed with a raised eyebrow at her mother. It started to dawn on me that this nine-year-old little girl was entering another phase in her life. I don't know if I'm ready to see my little God-daughter grow out of her "tomboy" ways yet. Now she's wearing lip gloss and buying purses! Kids just have it so easy these days. Well, I'm surprised that the fashion industry hasn't come out with a big New York style runway show just for junior fashion. According to this report by Mediamark Research, the top item that teens bought with their own money is clothing.
