
Earlier this year Aesthetics + Economics discussed the possible decline in embellished denim and a preference for basic dark denim. The denim trend that is now emerging for fall 2007 is this higher waist flared style of jean - although I still have yet to see it hit the mainstream. As much as some of you may dislike the skinny jean, it looks as if it's here to stay through the rest of the year.
But that's not all you're going to see this fall. We're going to see denim in all styles and colors. From straight-leg, to side zips, and wide-leg, we're going to see it all. Moreover, I believe that companies like Citizens of Humanity and 7 For all Mankind will still reign supreme in the denim department.
